Weigh In Friday June 17th
I was at the beach...and weighed thinking I would've gained but thankfully, I just maintained this past week. Horray! Now this week will be hard getting back on track but I can do it!

Weigh in...
Hello there! I weighed in this morning, not expecting much, even though I'd been doing well. However, I lost 3.6 this week, for a total of 32.2lbs gone! I'll be doing my monthly measuring tonight and will post again! Maybe my measurements will have changed some too. I'm so excited to be back on track. Horray!
(gained 2.6 last week. blah)

Pesky Problem
To say I'm embarrassed to write about this topic would be an understatement. But since I'm sure I'm not the only one suffering, I thought I'd blog about it. What's the pesky problem, you may ask?
...gas...
and no, I don't mean the kind you put in your car/truck/SUV. I mean the kind that makes you feel bloated, huge, uncomfortable and sometimes...can escape, embarrassing you further.
I figure it comes from incorporating more fruits and vegetables in my diet. But what to do to get rid of this problem? Or is it something I'm just gonna have to live with (that and taking Gas-X on a regular basis).
If you've had this problem, please comment below. Because, I wanna feel better!

Weight Loss Shows
I have never watched The Biggest Loser. I used to think that weight loss shows like that touted unhealthy ways to lose weight...could someone healthily lose that amount of weight in such a short time? But then I found the show Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. And I was inspired. Seriously. No, I won't take to heart all of the advice they give because I think WW works for me. However, I've found that these people have what I don't...and that's committment! And that's why I'll continue to watch this show and start following The Biggest Loser. Because I want what they have and these shows completely inspire me to do better and push harder. And how could that be a bad thing?

Interested or Committed?
I stole this from my WW group on Facebook. I will share with you guys that I've been merely interested. But I'm gonna be committed from now on!
Interested or Committed
Here's a summary of the two directions.
If you're "INTERESTED" in losing weight ...
*You stick with it only until something better comes along (such as doughnuts)
*How you feel determines your outcome. If you don't "feel like it," you stop your efforts.
*You need to see results. When the scale doesn't move, you lose your motivation.
*You blame everything else (people, travel, circumstances) for your struggles with staying on your diet.
*Whenever you face challenges in life, you give up and plan you'll start your diet again tomorrow.
If you're "COMMITTED" to losing weight ...
*Nothing stops your efforts. You stick with your diet, "no matter what."
*Emotions don't control your actions. You stay on track even when you don't feel like it.
*You're motivation isn't linked to the scale. You assume that if you stay motivated and work hard, you'll eventually see results.
*You don't depend on other people for your success. You know it's up to you, not them.
*A bad day or a lot of challenges don't effect your efforts. You keep going in spite of it.

Gained. Again.
I was expecting this gain as well. 2.6 pounds this week. I'm not discouraged because I haven't done anything right this week. I tracked when I wanted to (which wasn't often), I didn't get any activity in (except I did clean the office yesterday), and I drank 2 Pepsis this week. I've sworn off Pepsi and I gave in. Oh well. You live and learn!
With this gain, I've had to increase my Points for the day (34 from 33). I will make it through, though, as I have before.
Just got a little sidetracked.
